Spring '07 we had 5 of our U16 female players officially acting as coach or assistant coach of a team. These player/coaches are taking on responsibility because they love the game and want the kids to enjoy it as much as they have. They love teaching and working with the players, too!

Kaila Pope is working with Michael Johnson coaching the new U6 Coed team this spring.

Cassie Marotta is working this Spring with John Grace who took over the U6 Coed team coached this fall by Dick Butler.

Katelyn Crooks and Jackie Fisher are coaching the new U6 Girls team this spring.

All these players are very special people to take on so much responsibility this early in life. We have had very good reports from parents and the players and we hope that these girls will want to do this again. Parents and Fans, be sure to give them encouragement and thanks for all their efforts.

I want to challenge our male youth players to try coaching too! This year guys, the girls have you beat in coaching.

Jackie Fisher is going to Europe this summer as a People to People Student Ambassador and Katelyn Crooks is going to Austria this summer to play soccer as a People to People Sports Ambassador.
