REFUNDSWe know there are circumstances which prompt a parent to decide they would like to remove their child's registration application and to request a refund. Please try to remember that late drops affect us not only financially, but also affect players who are on teams as well as those who are trying to get on teams.
Once an order (registration) is placed, the AYSO National Player fee and any card/transaction fees you may have paid are NON-REFUNDABLE.
REGION 160 REFUND POLICY*(Updated June 2023)
Withdrawal from AYSO programs in Region 160 affects team balancing and formation, puts additional stress on volunteers, impacts wait lists, and planning, and costs the region financially. However, AYSO Region 160 understands there are situations where a player is no longer able or willing to participate in the region's programs.
- A refund request made from the time of registration until the registration period closes will usually result in a full refund of Region, Area, field, and uniform fees.
- If we are unable to place your child on a team, a full refund will be given.
- Once registration closes, but before teams are formed, a refund request will usually result in a 75% refund of Region, Area, field, and uniform fees. During this time period, if uniforms have been ordered by the time of the refund request, then the uniform fee is non-refundable.
- After registration is closed and teams are formed, if there is no coach volunteer available, no refunds will be issued.
- After teams are formed and players have been contacted by their coach, no refunds will be issued for convenience (e.g., conflicts with practice days, change of interest by the player, etc.)
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for refund to be processed.
* Exceptions may be made by review committee of two or more board members.
